Fermata is always looking for qualified, motivated and creative music therapists to join the team. Positions are available in a diversity of settings in the Hamilton area.
Opening Fall 2009, Fermata Music Therapy will have a new studio space at 809 King St East, Hamilton. This space will be fully equipped for music therapists to provide both group and individual sessions. Fermata will also be inviting other allied health professionals, such as; Speech and Language Pathologists, IBI Therapists and Counselors to join the team.
The NoBounds music program always has a waiting list of students. Fermata is accepting resumes from music therapists interested in teaching students with special needs. Fermata currently provides Music Therapy to: St.Peter's Long Term Care Facility Idlewyld Manor Long Term Care Facility Victoria Gardens Long Term Care Facility The Village of Wentworth Heights Extendicare St.Catherine's Gillian Fletcher & Associates, Youth Skills Link Connections Program Fermata initiated the Music Therapy programs at: Sherwood Court Long Term Care Centre, Maple Elginwood Long Term Care Centre, Richmondhill Winbourne Park Long Term Care Centre, Ajax Versa-Care Long Term Care Centre, Uxbridge Newmarket Long Term Care Centre Meagan Manor Long Term Care, Toronto
