Fermata Music Therapy

Fermata Music Therapy was established in 2001 by Rachael Finnerty. Rachael Finnerty is an accredited music therapist (MTA) and has completed a Masters Music Therapy (MMT) as well as a Masters Social Science.

Fermata Music Therapy consists of a team of Music Therapists as well as other allied health professionals such as a Speech Language Pathologist, Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI) Therapist, Brain Gym Instructor and a Counsellor.

Fermata Music Therapy offers music therapy services to Long Term Care facilities, schools, as part of multidisciplinary teams and in a private practice studio for both adults and children.

Fermata Music Therapy offers internship sites, supervision, subcontracts, workshops, and support in initiating new music therapy programs.

Piano Lessons are offered to individuals with special needs through the No Bounds program at the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts (www.hcarts.ca).
